Los Angeles-based artist Michael Doret is the mastermind behind the logo design of Wreck-it Ralph. You may not realize it, but you already recognize his work. He’s the one to credit for the NY Knicks logo, as well as an illustrator for many Time covers. Doret incorporated the idea that main “bad guy” Ralph evolves from a classic 8-bit arcade character into a fully articulated 24-bit form as he moves from arcade world to arcade world throughout the film, and began working on the title treatment for Disney over the course of several months.
